Summary
The Keey is a media player app only. The app does not provide, sell, host, or include any TV channels, movies, series, playlists, or streaming content. Users must use their own valid account, server URL, or playlist provided by their own service provider. The Keey is designed to work with local storage by default. Cloud backup is optional. If you enable cloud backup, we save only the app data needed to restore your experience, such as profiles, favorites, continue watching, and app preferences. We do not store your password, payment details, or streaming content.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, The Keey may process the following information:
- Login identifiers: server URL and username, used to identify and restore your optional cloud backup.
- App profile data: profile names, profile type such as adult, standard, or kids, profile settings, and PIN-related settings if enabled.
- Library data: favorites, continue watching, watch progress, and related app preferences.
- Device/app data: basic technical information needed to keep sync reliable, such as app version, sync timestamps, and device identifiers generated by the app.
2. Information We Do Not Store
- We do not store your account password in our cloud backup system.
- We do not store payment card details or payment credentials.
- We do not host, upload, or store TV channels, movies, series, playlists, or streaming content.
- We do not sell your personal information.
3. Optional Cloud Backup
Cloud backup is optional. When you first sign in, the app may ask whether you want to enable cloud backup. If you choose not to enable it, your app data will remain stored locally on your device only.
If cloud backup is enabled, your data can be restored when you sign in again using the same server URL and username. Your password is used only for signing in to your provider and is not used as part of the cloud backup identifier.
4. How We Use Information
We use app data only to provide and improve the app experience, including:
- restoring profiles, favorites, and continue watching;
- syncing app preferences across devices when cloud backup is enabled;
- helping users manage or delete their cloud data;
- maintaining security, reliability, and troubleshooting of the service.
5. Media Player Only and Third-Party Content
The Keey is a media player app only. The app does not provide, sell, host, upload, or store TV channels, movies, series, playlists, or streaming content. To use the app, you must provide your own valid account, server URL, or playlist from your own service provider.
The Keey may connect to a server URL or account provided by you or your service provider. We do not control the privacy practices, content, availability, legality, quality, or policies of third-party providers. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
You are responsible for ensuring that any account, server URL, playlist, or content source you use with the app is authorized for your use and complies with applicable laws and terms.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your data. We may share limited data only when necessary with service providers that help us operate hosting, storage, security, or technical infrastructure, or when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights and security of users and the service.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
If cloud backup is enabled, we retain your cloud backup data until you delete it, disable cloud backup where supported, or the data is no longer needed to provide the service.
You can delete cloud data from the app settings when this feature is available. Deleting cloud data removes the cloud copy linked to your server URL and username. It does not delete local data stored on your current device, and it does not cancel or delete your subscription account with your provider.

If you cannot access the app, contact us at support@dd-qa.io and include the server URL and username linked to the cloud data you want deleted. Do not send your password.
8. Local Storage
If you choose local storage only, your profiles, favorites, continue watching, and preferences are stored on your device. If you delete the app, reset the device, or use another device, local-only data may not be recoverable.
9. Children and Kids Profiles
The app may include kids profiles or filtering features. These features are designed to limit what is displayed inside the app, based on available category names and settings. If cloud backup is enabled, kids profile settings may be included in the backup so they can be restored. We do not knowingly collect more information from children than is necessary to provide these app features.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect cloud backup data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Processing
Your data may be processed or stored on servers located outside your country. Where required, we take reasonable steps to protect your data according to applicable privacy requirements.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means the updated policy applies.
